She was definitely the only person to actually care enough to check on him and his pokémon from time to time, and he could respect that. And if he had such a high opinion of her, he could only imagine how people who actually knew her felt.]
You probably already figured it out, but I guess Katara's gone home. I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but she's still gone.
